The No Surprises Act was designed to protect consumers from receiving unexpected medical bills. The Good Faith Estimate provision of the No Surprises Act is designed to give consumers predictability in how much they will be charged for the healthcare services they will receive, prior to the appointment.
Every uninsured or self-pay client has the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate. As state-licensed providers, we must provide a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every new and continuing client who is either uninsured or is not planning to submit a claim to their insurance for the healthcare services they are seeking. Our goal is to protect clients from surprises bills and provide transparent pricing up front.
